Monotype with Glen Rogers | JUNE
Monotype is a one-of-a-kind print created by applying ink to a plate and transferring the image to paper with the use of an etching press. This workshop covers basic studio practices from preparation of paper to how to use the etching press with techniques in additive, subtractive, roll-up, drypoint, stencil, and multiple color registration. Individual attention will be given to each person, guiding them in the process that suits their vision.
Creating a Monotype is a magical process and allows for one’s creativity to flow in unexpected directions. The workshop is suitable for beginner to advanced artists.
