ABOUT THE ARTIST EXHIBITON
In addition to our anniversary, we want to celebrate the participants who’ve made OGS possible over the last three years with our first ever Student and Member Exhibition. This exhibit is a cross-section of the diverse art that is produced by Open Ground’s many different creators, be they first-time students or experienced, professional artists. For many of our students and members, this will be the first opportunity to showcase their art to the public and Open Ground Studios is ecstatic to be the venue that introduces them to the Monterey Peninsula.

ABOUT OUR ANNIVERSARY
Open Ground Studios’ mission is to raise the bar of artistic excellence in the Monterey area by providing a well-equipped and multi-faceted workspace for technical growth, mentorship, and educational opportunities. Focusing on both personal and professional development, as well as community partnerships, we strive to achieve a sustainable business practice and programming geared toward public benefit. While this hasn’t always been our mission, we are celebrating our third anniversary with renewed vigor and support from the community.
We will hold a raffle with prizes ranging from art supplies to community made gifts and baskets.
